All coconuts come from the Ben Tre region in Vietnam from our own BIO coconut farm. This is a cluster of islands in the Mekong Delta, which for centuries has brought mud deposits rich in humus, a lot of antibacterial substances, natural antibiotics and micro-organic fertilizers. The Mekong has been rightly called the Garden of the World or the River of Miracles for centuries. No industrial fertilizers or chemical pesticides are used on the farm. Unlike many other areas, cattle and poultry farming is prohibited here in order to eliminate soil pollution by feces.
It is these unique natural conditions that create the ideal environment for growing coconuts of the highest quality, which are valued by international experts. How do coconuts from Ben Tre differ from others? They have a thicker shell, more durable coconut fibers, their pulp contains a higher content of coconut oil and the water from them is naturally much sweeter than anywhere else in the world.
The entire area is very carefully controlled and supervised by the Control Union - a global network of quality consultancy and verification in accordance with the relevant international regulations for organic farming.
