COCONUT-MARCIPPINE WAX BREAD: a delicious recipe for the holiday table

RECIPE FOR COCONUT-MARCIPPINE WOOSE NEST


The Christmas holidays are approaching and with them the time for baking and preparing traditional sweet treats. If you are looking for something original that will also please coconut and marzipan lovers, we have a recipe for coconut-marzipan wasp nests for you. This dessert is not only irresistibly tasty, but also simple to prepare. It was created exclusively for COCOXIM by chef Vojtěch Kanta.

INGREDIENTS


BASIC FOOD
120 g butter, 40 g sugar meal, 2 tablespoons condensed milk, 60 g almonds, 60 g coconut, 60 g ground sponge cake

 

MARCIPANE CREAM
100 g butter, 60 ml coconut cream COCOXIM, 100 g marzipan

 

FINISHING
1/2 cup coconut, linzer rounds

PROCESING


1. PREPARING THE BASIC MATERIAL
First, take the butter out of the fridge and let it soften. Meanwhile, grind the almonds, coconut and biscuits to a fine texture. In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut, crushed biscuits, icing sugar, softened butter and condensed milk. Make a compact dough and place it in the fridge for a while.

2. PREPARING MARCIPANIC CREAM
Pour the COCOXIM coconut cream into a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Once it starts to bubble, turn off the stove and add the sliced marzipan. Stir until you get a smooth consistency. Let the mixture cool and then gradually beat in the butter until the cream is glossy and fluffy. Transfer the cream to a pastry bag and chill.

3. MAKING THE WASP'S NEST
Take the basic dough out of the fridge and use the shapes to make the wasp's nests. Use the end of the piping bag to make indentations in the nests for the cream.

4. FILLING AND FINISHING
Fill each well with marzipan cream. Don't be afraid to fill it properly, so that the cream sticks to the nest and everything sticks together. Finally, cover the nests with coconut.
